This hotel is a remarkable place, unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed that we can remember. Malanquilla is a small, remote village that feels like the end of the world, in a very good way. Right outside our window is a stunning view of the vast, open country, accented by a well-preserved traditional Aragonese windmill. Before breakfast we enjoyed the sight of a massive sheep drive cross the ridge below the windmill. It feels like we’ve stepped back a century, but provided with all the modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

All the staff were exceptional and they were all so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very dog friendly and the walk along the canal towpath was great. Parking is no problem as it is outdoors, so suitable for larger vehicles. It is very easy to get to from the motorway so great for an overnight stop. We had dinner which was amazing and we really enjoyed the breakfast. You are made to feel so welcome here, almost like you are family.
